Instead of a Master class that is just bigger and better outfitted than others in its class, I like the idea of a differently modified version of the War Ship being for sale instead. For instance, instead of having a War Frigate and a Master Frigate, there could be an alternate version of a War Frigate that has 2 of its cannons moved up closer to the front that can aim forwards, with less side potential. Hey, I'd take it!
An alternate version of the War Sloop could be thinner and have a little less armor, but could be the fastest turning and fastest running ship instead.
An alternate version of the War Galleon could have an upper and lower deck on the same place linewise on the ship. It could be in this format or so, with the O's as cannons:

^O^O^
That doesn't figure in the new ship types you proposed, which I'd probably favor.
