Yes, you can switch weapons using F1-F6 You can also use the scroll wheel of your mouse to scroll through weapons. This works because it changes from one weapon to another without 'disarming' your pirate. Any method you prefer of changing weapons should work, as long as you dont put one away, then select another.
Once weapons are put away... your no longer invisible/invincible, but your still stuck at KH unless you sail out, and then your TP is still broke until you relog.
