Yeah, I'm not getting the tonics thing...if you're needing to use a lot of tonics, you're probably just in a spot you're not ready for.
As for ship repairs...not getting that one either. I've made lots of gold sailing with the Wenches. Even if we do take a
lot of damage (sinking is an extreme rarity), the captain's bonus alone more than covers repair costs.
Really, if you're not happy in a guild, find a new one - they're not all created equal (super understatement of the day!
