Swash, don't try to compare yourself too much to the Wenchs--to the point of copying their presentation. It will just show everyone that the GM is a wannabe leader instead of an ACTUAL Guildmaster. An actual Guildmaster being someone who keeps guild order but doesn't create a guild dictatorship, also, someone who realizes that people will want your help at times, and the GM actually being decent enough to help. Plus, presenting your guild in a welcoming and eye-catching way---- instead of just going straight to consenquences and requirements without benefits, guild activities, etc. explaining to people that you are looking to be a GUILDMASTER, not a BOSS, those are 2 different things.
You said, "I've updated the rules" although I don't see very much improvemt. They still have the same self-centered tone.
When people look at this, they may think "What kind of rules are these? This guy really needs to stop thinking about only his self-gratification if he expects other people to join.
If I imagine myself a lvl 20 in your guild, this is how it will play out:
Me: Hey Swash, I need help getting grenades, can you help please?
You: No, I'm busy lvling up and I don't wanna be bothered with some lvl 20 at the moment, get a friend or do it yourself!!!!
Me: You know what? There are a lot better guilds out there who are actually helpful! I should just join a better guild since you're too "busy" to do your job.
You: Fine, leave! I don't care!!
You see Swash, put this situation into another perspective and you might see what the problem is.
The bottom line is that people want to be in a guild where the Guildmaster actually does his or her job.
From the beginning I've read this thread I've always believed that You are just not ready to be a Guildmaster.
