Although your wireless network device obviously is configured to work, it would appear the ethernet port/connection is not. How to resolve that would depend on how your local network is configured.

Noone said wireless wouldnt work, just that it is definately not the best for an online gaming connection. You will have many argue for and against.
The fact you have ANYONE arguing against, basically proves its not the best. You wont find any such arguments regarding hardwired connections, at least none leading towards wireless being better.
