The real "original" one doesnt exist anymore. Thats why they created this replica using information from the accounts of searobbers/pirates that had really served on the ship as its design basis.
Unfortunatley the ship we have come used to knowing as the Black Pearl, (one used in the movies) is not the real Black Pearl.
As a matter of fact, Disney doesnt own the rights to the "ship" called Black Pearl. Its been rumored, that Disney was denied licensing rights to rename the ship in thier Pirates of the Caribbean rides from "Wicked Wench" to "Black Pearl".
The real Black Pearl is a brigantine ship based on Bridgeport, Connecticut. Ya know what, i'll bet this here boat we're seeing is it!!!
