I've seen several new guilds get started recently. I'm seeing the same problems with previously mentioned guilds and new ones. I've seen some websites get published.

But Ladies and Gentlemen, having an url to a site that has nothing is not going to help.

If you want a healthy, growing, tight-knit guild you really need to think about WHY anybody should join your guild. Then you need to get that word out. But having a website that doesn't have anything there for prospective members won't do anything but turn those prospects away.

Seriously--new guilds are created every day. And guilds fold every day too. What are you willing to do to have a successful guild?

Maybe put some effort into the guild webpages?
I'm not saying to plagiarize any other guild's website, but why not look at some of the guild websites out there and see which ones you spend time with? Then ask yourself WHY DID I SPEND TIME ON THIS SITE? Figure out why and add new content to your site.

Again, no need to copy and paste. It really won't work anyway--if you don't put any effort into it it will still show.

Good luck, mates.
