I dont think anyone stole anything from anybody.
They are very different other than genre.
The fact you had to 'work' at it makes it, well work.
Not something I personally associate with fun and games.
Now I didnt have the luxury of a bunch of guildmates learning the game with me, I didnt have anyone offer to help even when I asked (other than the one person that gave me the trial, and I didnt want to bug her).
It was offered that I meet them once, but I had to sail half way across the world to get to them and got forced into several pvp matchs just trying to get to where they were in a reasonable amount of time. I even got spoken to rudely when I didnt know how to defend myself in the pvp battle I got drawn into against my will.
I would definately NOT say this is what POTCO should be, and its definately not what POTCO wants to be. Maybe in scope and size only, but not in play style or its economy. POTCO better never be that. Whats with the game having advertisements in open chat for leveling your pirates for cash? I thought that pitiful. Am1974 told me she logged in to pay her dues, or rent or something on her property, sounds like a cyberlife to me.. lol.
Those 14 day passes by the way are like a 14 day basic account on potco (not like a 14 day unlimited pass). Cant communicate on the global/national chat for example. Cant do alot of things.. may be part of why I didnt enjoy the experience very much.
