First of all, congratulations on making it that far!
Perhaps the most important thing about sailing a boss battle with crew, is finding people you trust.
When I did my boss battle solo on my third pirate, it took me about 70 tries (50 of which I took notes for) but I had already learned/figured out how to sail a boss battle (with crew) on my earlier pirate.
I strongly recommend you try it many, many times alone or with only the closest game friends you have. Knowing how to approach the bridges almost perpendicular (about 80 degrees) lets your crew pick off one bridge while the other can't hit you.
If you are having trouble with the frigates, remember to use thunder (ammo type) and aim for the aft section.
For bridges, aim at the hinge pins of each drawbridge.
For the first three after frigates, turn left then go forward five seconds, backwards five seconds (start moving backwards when you see bridges fire.) VERY IMPORTANT: remember to roll camera angle so you can see what is going on.
Use ramming speed to approach the last two bridges (8 and 9) to scamper right underneath their first volley.
For Goliath, use full sail, left broadsides, take cover, ramming speed but continue going perfectly straight. Once Goliath is just off the compass, turn and stop so your crew (including you) can shoot it from afar. As long as Goliath can't shoot her explosive shot at you, you are good.
