Guilds are usually formed by an inner circle of friends (much like the guild i am in) and then expands outward towards other players in the game. Usually when somebody new joins the guild he or she is not given much attention if he or she is not within that circle of friends (luckily i am, yet i still am not an officer!! oh, sorry this isnt about me. anyway) I suggest you stay within a guild for a few days. If nobody or very little people talk to you, join another. But the best bet is to join a friends guild, that way, you have a guild under your name, and you feel comfortable with it!
