Just for historical purposes... real pirates used smaller more faster ships (and not the War Frigates we use
) for attacks unless travelling in large fleets...
But - as for gameplay - the Light Sloop does have quiet the advantage which should be 'leveled' somewhat as 3-6 fury should send it to the bottom.

Thats what I do after I sink one.... sit back - steer the wheel and take a sip of my drink with the newly made umbrella
