We will probably never know unless someone goes into the past and makes sure the EIT company never trades with the colonists or sells goods to them.
But i'm sure it wasn't a big enough part to start the revolution.
Gotta love the tea act, stamp act, etc...
The british thought they would be nice after all the acts and keep the tea act for cheaper tea. The only bad thing was that by selling cheaper tea meant some people would go out of buisness.
It seems everything the british did made the colonists upset.

Wow getting off topic.
Anyways I still think dutch and british EITC enemies could make the game more fun.
