Yes that's true.
Sorry I don't what damage it does at rank five but...
It has helped me two or three times now. Saved me from a Warlord from finishing me off and getting my five Royals.
I have no idea what they do at rank five damage but if your looking to get it up to rank five a lot of people would say no.
Explosive can help and does help 'sometimes" but it's not worth a rank five.
In my opinion just keep it at rank one. It helps but in my experience I'm glad put two skill points on it.
Just saying because you don't want to have a rank five explosive while the rest of your amo is weak because of it. And everyone knows weak amo will get ye sent to Davy Jones locker.
