ALT - F6 does work
Here is a screen shot of using ALT F6 to lower my ping by refreshing
you wont see it pausing the game unless u have something moving around in front of you when you hold em down
just hold em down and watch i assure you it does work lol
Also your right on Shift + F9 -- I must have been hitting F9 without shift down by accident and thinking I had Shift Down
