As far as I'm concerned, the more, the merrier!
I did turn the game sounds down when I got on vent initially, just because I wasn't sure how much background noise the microphone would pick up, but once you get the settings balanced it seems to work very well.
And I wouldn't worry too much about your sense of humor - I'd say we're all a lot less edited than when we type. But really, vent makes things like sailing
so much easier (not to mention, sinking hurts a
lot less when you're laughing really hard).
