Not sure, I think the end result is that if you have a big crew, they must have really good cannoning skills, coz the best bb I ever sailed was pretty much with an almost full crew. But all of them had at least fury or really good thunder from what I remember. And it's pretty important to have everyone shooting at weak spots of the ships instead of just firing cannon to hit any part of the ship.

screenshot_2008-10-12_17-32-48.jpg We were yellow already right after the 4 lil frigs before destroying the drawbridges, I'd say we had about 40% hull left. Then I had to run from the 2nd to front cannons all the way to the end of the ship when Andy decided to let me steer after the ships had sunk, so I think we took a lil bit more damage from not moving the Pearl fast enough to dodge cannons.
I'd say we did good, coz I've been in a bb before where the 4 lil frigs made the Pearl go into the redzone already ROFL, not sure how the lil frigs could've done so much damage, but just remember thinking it was weird.
