I noticed that too as I do the same thing. I also noticed last night that on the chat system that just because you type it and it show on your screen it doesn't mean that everyone there has seen it. My other players screen didn't show at least one thing I typed. I also had one attacking me that was flying over me higher than any navy ever did. I'm surprised the other player near me even found it.

The lag is bad. It is as if there is too much for their system to process even on dead servers. Sure the better look is nice but it ruins the game play cause now the lag is bad. I've sunk a few time because the meter isn't showing what my damage really is. I had 3/4 hull left and one shot later I went down. Same apply to enemy's I'll hit them and hit them and their level doesn't go down and then it will show half their level is gone and then back up and then down again. And no there was no others in sight. The lag seems to be the worst in port royal. Buildings not appearing fast enough causing me to walk right into them.

Reallocation of skill points is both much too cheap and too easy. I can see the first one as a gimme for the low amount but they wipe your whole slate clean and allow you to redo everything. Why not just give you one point at a time and to reallocate the point you have to reearn it. But you would get to select which ones to remove.
