My experience wasn't particularly good with the full moon thing.

It seemed all the punks from PvP came out to terrorize most of us decent ppl while we were trying to enjoy the special event. I found myself having to defend the ladies in my guild more than actually participating in the "fun." In addition, the event made the whole game extremely unstable (i.e., ALL enemies would skip about instead of playing through their respective "walk" animations).

I noticed a LOT of cheating during the events. There were some who thought it acceptable to glitch onto the tops of hills and behind "treelines" to flame skull and siege charge everyone else. As you can imagine, I became quite heated at this.

I did have the great pleasure of knocking out a Lvl 40 on Tortuga. The delinquent punk was glitched behind the treeline on the east side of the coast, just behind the shacks supported by stilts.

How did I do this?

I wedged myself between the huts, just close enough to bust the deadbeat with several shots of maxed steel shot from my grand pistol. It was funny to see my targeting reticule move about as he tried to get away. He eventually moved a bit.

I tracked him to a wedge in the wall just north of the gunsmith shop in town. I continued hammering that bloke with steel shot, alerting my crewmates to the egregious offense taking place. One of my crewmates managed to get behind the wall; she helped me finish the offender off. And yes, I was saying things like "Cheater!" in the local chat. He knew I was after him. It felt great to shout "VICTORY!" and run the "/celebrate" emote when he went down

So I can't say my experience was all bad. I did get to exact a little justice against a cheater. The only thing I feel bad about is decimating a poor lvl 2 who must've been caught outside unawares.
