i finally got all of the items for the dagger quest, i just kept trying around devil's anvil between port royal and tortuga...there seems to be alot of EITC ships around there that are quick kills. I am now trying to get a letter from the govenor for elizibeth by sinking navy ships but it's not doing anything but leveling up my cannon so far...i did get the cool flaming skull ammo though
. I have all of my items for Doc Grog and finally droped them after he accepted them and they didn't go away...now it just says to visit him but when i do it says great lets start again but doesn't give me any quests to work on or do over. I don't know. I keep reporting the bugs hoping that with enough emails flooding their boxes they may pay attention to putting it in the next patch.
