New Findings Since Starting Over Recently

Here are a few new things I have noticed so far after starting a new set of pirates after the latest updates....


Booger Beard Billy being attacked by an axe wielding Marine.



My girl-friend's pirate Molly McButter coming across a random Stone Crab Boss on Devil's Anvil while leveling her pistol.

That's interesting, the marine's axe has a hilt on it. Maybe a glitch...?

yes the marine is meant to be a sword welder. Its just that at that exact spot there scene before entering battle is him chopping with an axe....yes its a glitch

Hahah too funny. We shouldn't be punished for glitches, seriously its disneys fault they are there in the 1st place.

I was not aware it was a glitch, he came at me slinging the axe side to side, I thought it was some thing new. I guess I could be wrong, I thought it would be more realistic that he would come after you with the axe he was chopping wood with, just like the Grave Diggers should attack with shovels, that would make more sense to me.

The dog has been there for awhile, ahhhh such nostalagia...
One of the favorite ole scenes from the original ride.

Graphics, video, and setting may play a role in some of this. I think that 'tattoo' assuming your refering to the image it appears is possibly on his chest. But when I review the same sequence on my system, it turns out to be a necklace, a leather strap with some things on it.

Are you sure the marine with the ax is a glitch? I was fighting the same one the other night and he had the ax the whole time.lol

Actually, I have been attacked by a guard with an axe. He's the guy chopping wood in the Thieves Den and the guard digging the hole at the outpost camp has come at Eliza with his shovel...

So, I don't think its a glitch. Perhaps they have trouble when another weapon overlays the tool in their hand.

They do, its just that sometimes it doesn't get executed properly, this is the same when you see pirates swinging a voodoo doll or throwing a pistol in the air. Funny, but not supposed to happen.

It's basically when the Guard draws his weapon while about to continue the animation ( as in he's about to put shovel in dirt/axe in logs ), then drawing the weapon, still weilding the Axe/Shovel. This is my guess...

You cant reason it like that, its just a simple mis communication between the server and your computer, like other people may have noticed, when you see something like this everybody around you doesnt see it.
