Guild Activities?
I was wondering if anyone had in game activities that they're tried or even if it's just an idea. We did hide and go seek in our meeting yesterday and had so much fun. I was sitting at my computer laughing myself to tears the whole time. Next meeting we're going to to what I call anti hide and seek, or a scavenger hunt to others where one person hides and the whole group tries to find them..
But anyway, aside from questing, plundering and hide and seek, are there any other fun in-game things to do? Oh, and "vacationing" my guildies like to travel around and take pictures..

They're some interesing things to do with boats I bet, like Lightning Tag or Racing, or something of that nature. Anything else is off my mind.

A pirate pair of two pirates (sounding redundant?) gets in a boat, Light Sloops working best, with one steering and another on a cannon. Lightning is the point of the game, as it is most visible. You merely tag another guildmate if you're it, though you need to have knowledge of who's it or not. It can keep going for an hour or till someone sinks. If someone sinks, that person and the one who is it has lost. People can dock during the last 5 minutes unless they're it.

We had our Quick Sabor Dash for Cash last night and it wuz a hit! Everyone launches their ship and one ppl goes ahead to the finish line (just long enough to spend Battleram and Full-sail skills). Then it's a mad dash for da gold!!! The top 5 advanced then top 3, and ended up with 2 racing for championship and a pot of gold!

Racing
We have nightly races - that vary in length and activity. Last night we raced from Cuba to Perdida where we had to kill a wasp - then sailed to Tortuga to kill a skele, then sailed from Tortuga to Padres - BACKWARDS. (Ok, the backwards part was VERY tough and seemed to take forever) but it's fun to get new guild members to join us - and it gives the higher level pirates a chance to take a break from weapon work.
We crew everyone racing so we don't annoy the non racing guild members - and have a lot of fun just being silly. We give out goofy prizes (figuratively) to the winners (i.e. a weekend at the Kingshead Bed & Breakfast - ammo not included). We're now tracking the winner and will have a race off at the end of the month. It's a great way to meet new guild members and make them feel welcome, and to just get together as a group. Each night is a new and different race - so it keeps it interesting. |

Ok, I guess I forgot how to play hide and seek about 35 years ago.
How would one play hide and seek in this game? Im starting to think im too old for this game. |

Hide and seek is fun. Can't use TP of course but otherwise just scatter (or use teams and scatter) and try to see the other side first Its unfair to use voids - so those are the most fun! Under Padres, the bar 'heavens', getting on ships - make it hard to see the other players. Shows how flipping BIG the game area really is. One basic rule is to NOT cry wolf - throws the game off. But it can be fun

My guild do ship races all the time. We did one where everyone used War Frigates then we did another with War Sloops and had to fill it up with cargo before landing. Then the funniest I think was using all light sloops but with master sailors.

We have our hide and seek/tag nights where we go to desolate kingshead and one person counts to 50 at the main gate and the others hide somewhere in kings. The person that's it uses a voodoo doll to tag people they found, and when they find a person, that person helps find everyone else until all are found and it's back for another game.
