I'm lost :(

I have gotten all of my stuff for a quest I can not remember where I am supposed to go to collect my reward for the stuff collected.

I have other quests too which I did but can not recall where I am supposed to take the completed items to (Names of people don't help.

Number one cause is do to being able to only play a couple of hours each day - after being killed due to lag, being kicked from the server and several other issues I find that the aggravation alone lends to forgetfulness of where things go.

Presently I have the light showing me to go somewhere in port royal (the town) yet no matter how often I go around and around the spot on my minimap I can not locate the beam of light at ground level to see where I am supposed to go.

Perhaps it would be helpful to say which island the quest goes to, such as Take Voodoo Items to Tia on Cuba... gentle reminders as to where X quest was picked up.

Also Nice to know I have to pick up fly trap plants (what ever they are) but no idea as to where I can find them.

General helps messages like "Fly traps are found on Isla Mordonia (made up name) or something - not the exact spot - but a general idea of where someone is supposed to go to.

An added thought - how about preventing friends who teleport to your boat to not be able to use a cannon without your permission?

Here's my two cents:

Use the guide on this forum (print it out or bookmark it) for people's names and where they are. Only the "List" Quest has the arrow/light, any other quest doesnt.

The Yellow Star points to the location, although I"ve found that some are generally bugged (in which case, use the report button!), but most of them are in the general area, if not dead on.

As far as the wasps or other creatures that you need, most are in MULTIPLE places, which i would imagine makes it hard for "hints". Plus, i like the challenge of actually finding them. Friends, or simply going to a crowded area and asking out loud usually helps, most people in beta are here to help others.

One of the places to find a fly trap is next to Tia Dalma on Cuba. I need that task too. I also, can only play a few hours a week.

Fly traps are fun.. there are a few lower level ones like in the 20's back in the swamp on Tortuga

The ones by Tia are in the teens

Winky, PM me and I'll try to help you figure out where you need to go to turn in your quests. Sometimes I have a problem remembering where I got my quests from also, so don't feel so lost lol

Danny if you open your chest (onto the quest page) you can highlight the part of quest you're looking for with the yellow dot. This usually shows you which island that item or part of quest can be located and will remind you at the top of the screen.
I know how you feel about remembering where people are. I'm looking for Black Mack myself and haven't a clue where I met him LOL
