June 2010 Sail Design Contest

We know that ship customization is on the horizon

And we have talked about designing a fleet ship that will hold our booty
AND
still be fast enough to run down the ships holding the cargo that we need to 'liberate'


What better way to customize than to create a fascinating and eye-catching sail - like the one in our banner



So, one and all you are invited to try your hand at expressing the pirate inside you in such a way that anyone sighting your sail on the horizon will know it is you.

Post your design (one per user) on this thread by Sunday, June 27th at 9:00 pm Central and then we will take a gander and decide which 5 will get



as well as a PM subscription for our top 3

and who will get

I just took a snap of the Crimson Widow at full sail. I would love to see the look on those Black Guard rats faces when they see her coming, guns a'blazing.

ok.. lets try this to. when on someones black pearl boss battle, i was lucky enough to take a screenshot when a thunderbolt shot was RIGHT there. i jut put the on the sail.

Turns out this is my final design...... My noobish skills were put to the test and this is what I came up with in less the 24 hours..... Yes, I only got 24 hours to make this because i do not have PS on me computer..... So Presenting the baddest and most un-pirate related to ever float the caribbean: The Muffinator

Here is mine.

The sails are gold with 1 vertical big blue lighting bolt in the center of each sail.... at the bottom of the bolt is a small pirate that u can see has been zapped by the bolt as he has jumped and has his arms and feet outward, as his hair is all frizzled. At the top of each sail are purple ribbons.
