Viewing Screenshots Help Please
I just got done with a tour from the GM Pete Abred and I took some cool screenshots. I also just got a new laptop. and I am not very used to it, it is a TOSHIBA. I can find screenshots on my home computer, but the path I normally take is different, so how do I view screenies from this computer?
Thanks, Captain Sharktooth

This is using a windows. I don't know for Macs.
Go to Start, then Computer, then OC, then program files, then disney, then disney online, pirates online, and then screenshots. |

I have a Toshiba too and I've experienced the same problem. I think after one of the updates my screenshots were no longer being saved despite the screenshot being taken and stored.

Another solution would be to hit Print Screen on the keyboard, then opening Paint (or any other image editor) and going to File/Paste. It will then appear and you can then save it to My Documents and name it what you want.

Here is my FAQ ( I don't know about MACs, sorry ) FAQ: Finding your screen shots on a Windows based computer: Case 1: If you start pirates by clicking on the icon on your desktop ( the stand alone version ) Find the icon for Pirates on your desktop. RIGHT click it. Choose OPEN FILE LOCATION. you should see SCREENSHOTS. That is where your screenshots are stored. CASE 2: If you start pirates by going to the Pirates Online web site and clicking PLAY: Yours is more difficult. Here is the path that the browser version uses on my computer: c:\USERS\MOM\APPDATA\LOCAL\PANDA3D\START\PIRATES\S CREENSHOTS The MOM directory is the name of my computer ( yours will be different most likely ) and the APPDATA directory is hidden. So what you do is go to the directory that is the name of your computer ( mine is MOM ). When you are there, click on ORGANIZE ( at the top of your screen ) and then Choose FOLDER AND SEARCH OPTIONS then click on VIEW at the top ( tab ) Then click on SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND DIRECTORIES. You should then see the APPDATA directory and it should be easy from there. Just click on the folders listed above. I hope this is helpful. |
