Free Account or Paid Account?

I started playing Pirates on a lark and am only using a free account. It is unlikely I will ever pay to play, but I just wondered what the split was between free accounts and paid accounts among the members here.

Currently, I'm paying. I'm was really close to the max on the Black Pearl... So I just decided to buy it. There are quite a few more people online that don't play I think.

I'm paying for now and I signed up as a founder. I figured if it turned out that I didn't care for the game I could always get my money back from selling the real map we get on eBay. (-kidding-)

I'm still playing on the test server. The basic game is a joke.

PLayed basic till lvl 3 then switched to unlimited

I like this version a whole lot better than the first one and its more fun to play now. i got really bored with TT and it was a easy decision to just order pirates.

If I could I'd pay to play.. for now, they aren't accepting non a other than american or canadian issued credit cards.

pay through paypal, they let anyone sign up through that.

I did not see paypal as a pay option when I tried to sign up. Just the three credit cards I don't have. I even called and they couldn't tell me that?

While the basic game may be bad, I definetly don't think that the full game is work 10 bucks a month. Especially considering that I have a job and I don't think it would be worth the work for this game. Personally, I think the whole game, full(from what I've seen) and basic, was a huge let down.

I signed up with an Australian credit card - the only thing I had to do was pick a US state, because the rego wouldn't go through without one. Other than that the rest of my details are correct.
