Latest Game Update October 21, 2008

Have you had a chance to experience the latest additions to the game? New Level 5 Weapons, New Bosses and other great new game features have showed up - while many bugs have disappeared (we fixed many exploits and glitches)! Tell us about your experience with the latest update.

Also the new gorg blog has the word RANT RANT RANT written all over it!

The sky and other graphics look great. However...we have too much time to admire them because of the phenomenal lag in the game. Also, the new weapons and Boss Enemies are of little use to Pirate Masters since no rep is awarded for them. There are NPCs floating and racing all over the game. Please address these new glitches and raising notoriety and rep levels.

Umm, yeah, don't find anything objectionable in that one. Except maybe the fact that it criticizes the game instead of blind enthusiasm for the incredibly wonderful makers of potco.

Seems like the Grog Blog should have been named "Pirates Cheerleading Section"

phenomenal a big word... so are we POTCO players supposed to be a bunch of illiterates that have to use monosyllables to express our discontent with the updates?

Yeah, I posted a very nicely worded comment about how nice it was to assign my skil points on pistol, and how I removed all the points from Hex-Eater since it's now useless. Not surprised that it wasn't approved, heh...

i'm guessing it was the word "lag". i would love to know how many e-mails they get asking about that.

maybe one of the new weapons should be the celebrated lag staff. deals +6 lag on land AND now +8 lag on sea. quest for this weapon is given to the player at level 1.

just for fun, I tried various posts on the "I Love Disney, POTCO" Blog. ER,, Grog Blog. Their definition of "spam" is anything that contains negative feedback! I tried to copy and paste some of the postings from a few of the threads here on POF, and everyone of them that had negative implications got denied as SPAM. So I just posted an entry referring back to the threads here!
