Chat
While listening to the gm's I linked a account and logged in another character. These are the two things I noticed.
No plus sign on the chat, and couldn't say about every other word, lol. Standing next to my other character, all local chat was not coming through. I assume this has to do with linking and its remaining as a basic account in chat. No idea why local chat is not being received through. Anyone else aware of some of these things, or getting the same thing. |

From my understanding from a friend, this is an ongoing issue. He contacted the customer service and they had him create a new account and have his Pirates all transferred over to the new account and it worked from there. So it sounds like there is a glitch of some kind in a database that is causing this to happen.

I don't think this is a glitch, maybe it's supposed to be some kind of parental control thats put on your account if you registered as a kid when you signed up. It would make sense if it was, and when you say it didn't let you say every other word was it replacing those words with the phrase " arrr " if it did then it's probably not a glitch, i think you have to go to the disney site and log in there here ill give you the link for that then you should probably have to use the account that has the power to link other accounts to change the parental controls on the account there should be a setting that says plus chat click the box next to it then there should be a button that says save settings hope this helps oh and heres the link

I had this issue too I called cs as I was instructed and they said it was an 'open chat' issue. I guess you can see if this is it if you go into your account manager thing from the site and looking at your communication options, if theres no check in open chat and you check it and it says 'coming soon' or something, then its that issue and you have to do what uber said and make a new account and move your Pirates over by calling customer service kind of a pain but it fixed me up
