Laptops solve stop glitches, except when they crash like mine.

I actually know what he is talking about.
When my internet "blinks" off, everything on the screen freezes and I keep going. A minute or so later I get the "Your internet connection has crapped the bed" notice and the game exits to the desktop. But the problem is that sometimes the game keeps playing without my input and when I log back on, I'm sitting in jail, groggy and confused. It doesn't happen often but when it does, it really is kind of cool. Except for the logging back on in jail thing... |

No glitch. Your PC is crashing and it is only showing the last images, etc from its memory - no new data is coming through. Get ready for the Disconnect.

I've had this happen to me before. i don't think my computer crashed.. just something to do with my connection. Anyways, everything else is in freeze mode but you can still run around. It's pretty funny but Your basically disconnected from the game.

LOL, yeah, something like this has happened to me once or twice - but there was no storm involved. All the NPCs and other players disappear - you can run around but you can't do anything. Like Pirategirl said, you are in the game, but completely disconnected from it at the same time. It's cool for about 30 seconds... until you realize there's absolutely nothing to do.

All you did was lose connection. You may have regained it and continued back to normal.
