Why not let the dog go on the snow? No reason to waste energy shoveling to get to grass...in my opinion.

Did you even LOOK at the picture???? The snow is 8 inches deeper than the dog! They couldn't even walk on it.

While we are on dogs an snow, this is after it's trampled by 3 kids an the dog.



The patio table got quite a dumping too.

And to think, we get to add more than 10 inches later today to all of that!!

Oh, an is it just me or do I really really have a problem if those fall on the front door directly under them?



Who says the Mid Atlantic doesn't get snow!

As much as I'd love to try this, the outlet they are plugged into is covered in snow and ice, and I'm more than a little afraid of blowing a circuit. Seeing as I'm house sitting I think that might be a bad idea. But oh how pretty I bet it would be.

lol...that reminds me of my winters in Alaska. Put Christmas lights on the handrails up to the front door and couldn't take em off for months. The snow formed around em. It looked pretty when I turned them on.
