Invasions
The House of the Dead paid gold to all,
Who would help to bring about the ports' downfall, Gather the stones, bring them back, And for gold and jewels you'd never lack, When all the stones were gone for good, Only then they, the pirates, understood, They'd sealed the fate of the islands when, They'd gathered the stones from cave and fen, Jolly Roger's forces gathered then, This problem could not be solved by wit, All looked bleak for the age of men, For those who feared Death, the black pit, The ship entered the cape in a cloud, A sickening sight even for the proud, No mere mortal foe was this, Demonic spawn from the black abyss, Eyes that were empty, soulless and cold, Frightening away even the most bold, They moved forward by a hidden force, Then, at last, there came the source, The huge, glowing form, at the head of the swarm, With hatred for happiness; all that feels warm, Lightning struck green, souls he devoured, The force of the pirates was to be overpowered, Suddenly the garrisons broke away, Each and every one, even the stray, This unstoppable force was met with another, A wall of pirates, brother by brother, A single stray streak of silver, they say, Was the thing that stopped ol' Roger that day, A clang as the sword fell, and all his forces fled, And gone from the beaches, those hordes of undead Hope you liked it! Just thought I'd convey the storyline in a poem. Last edited by KeeperOfTheCode; 08-11-2010 at 03:34 AM.. |
