Ok Heres the deal, i have a war galleon but i have about ten thousand gold so should i save up fourty thousand, sell the galleon and buy a war frigate, i kinda do like the war galleon though but the frigate is better.

Why not just save up and buy a War Frigate ALSO. That way you dont lose gold by selling (only get half back what you spent), and you'll be increasing the size of your fleet.

Most my pirates have full War Fleets. Once I buy a War class ship, its unlikely I will sell it.

Yea besides in honest opinon a war galleon is more useful than a frigate but liek zep said (geeze i need to stop quotingzep >_<) its better to have 2 war ships then to sell one get half the money back to buy another

Actually the war galleon is better and heres why: Has good health, Holds more cargo, and has more broadsides

Its depends on what kind of pirate you are. If you are the type of Pirate who likes to sail solo, make alot of money quickly, and so on, you are like what like to call, a "Plunderer", in which the galleon is the best bet for you. If you are the kind of Pirate who likes to sail with crews, does ramming speed alot, and just enjoys having strong fire power at your command, you are what i like to call, a "Warlord", in which the frigate is the best bet for you. In my personal opinion, i use my War Frigate more, but if you really like the war galleon, do what Chris and Zep said and save up your money so you can have both. Good Luck Mate!
