Yes, when you go to the Jewler, Tattoo, or Tailor's, each quest gives you items related to that store:
Jeweler-Jewelry Tattoo-Tattoo Tailor-Article of Clothing For other quests though, like NPC.. you usually just get Reputation and maybe some gold.
