Using the 'stow away' feature

I brought up 4 pirates without using this, it wasn't available.
Now I'm on numbers 5 and 6, and I'm finding that I still don't use it. I can see the purpose, especially when you can't TP to Cuba, and you have to go see Tia Dalma, but it never occurs to me to use it.

My thoughts: No Pirate that can teleport needs it, and the level of pirate that does need it is wasting her/his gold by using it. Better off to take the time and sail to the island you need, and sink a ship or two along the way. Make gold, not spend it.
