POTCO Dieing?

Considering that this game is only a few months old (live rather than beta) and Warcraft has been around for about 3 years I think you are being a little unfair.

Your kidding, right?

When WOW was released, it had hundreds and hundreds of quests. Multiple classes. Tons of equipment. A huge playing area.

This game was released with only a handful of quests and 1 class. You cannot even come close to comparing the 2 games.

Basically, the way the game is now, it will have a very high turnover rate of players. I mean, really. You play the game for 2 to 4 months, get 1 of each warship, master a couple weapons, sailing, and cannon, finish the black pearl quest and then you get bored and leave. Some other kid comes in to take your place.

This game simply does not have enough content to keep players. You can master a pirate in a very short time compared to other MMO's, and once you do there is very little point in creating another pirate as it's just a slightly tweaked version of your first pirate.

I figure I have about another month or two and it will be time for me to move on.
