Fighting on Skates

i have noticed lately...and not every time i log on...but when i'm in hand to hand combat my pirate will slide to the left and get turned around...it's as if i'm fighting on ice skates. it's particularly annoying in tomenta where you face high level enemies.

The only think i could think of is that Disney figures since i have a pirate he can't possibly be sober all the time. With all the rum around maybe they figure my pirate needs to occasionaly fight when he's hammered ...becasue that's kind of what it looks like!
