Everybody's the same body shape?

I've noticed that nearly everyone is picking the same body shape for their pirates. The game gives you several choices for body shape, but hardly anybody's making a short pirate, a chubby pirate, an overly skinny or an overly muscular pirate. (Nearly everyone is causcasian too, but that's another story). To me, that's almost a game design flaw because people are finding most of the choices unusable. What do you think?

I have seen at least one dark-skinned female character (dark enough that I assumed the player was going for an Afro-Carribean skin tone) and one short, fat (but Caucasian) male character. I have noticed that most female characters have the same shape (tall hourglass) and most men share the same inverted triangle (broad shoulders and narrow waist/hips) torso.

I have been relieved to notice, at least, that the clothing options have (so far) led to almost no noticeable repeating.
