Compas is a little messed up. It's showing those gold tracking stars under all players and enemies on the mini map in town.

I made a new pirate to run thru the tutorial and i noticed with the compass i was getting two arrows and they were pointing in opposite directions. One had a tracking star and other did not. This was when i got the note from Elizabeth to go get my ship. The arrow with the star was still pointing back in the direction of the manor, but the tracking beam and the other arrow were pointing to the shipwright. Not such a big deal to a veteran but would totally confuse a new pirate.
