WOW! Brilliant idea. I really think this feature would be great! And I'd like to add to the whole, don't trust disney npc thing (LOL). You would set the traits for the first mate, and that would tell you its game style- whether you have a set location for it to sail to, what to attack/avoid or to just go wild.
