The third pirates film really was wacky... though it did have it's moments, like where you saw Davy Jones standing in a bucket of water on an island. It was cheesy for the whole though. The second one was decent though.
Pirates didn't really have a complex story, just complex plots and sub-plots--though it did have turns from the more believable storylines, which I personally didn't like. LOTR is a complex world, complete with stories like The Hobbit and The Samarillian (did I get that right?). |
