But ships of such major capacities?
We already pull in more gold than we can spend in the game!!!
My pirates sit at 65k gold max all the time.
Bigger hauls, larger plunders... not seen as entirely all that useful as of yet.
Not even sure why they increased the capacities of the ships we have!

Firepower?
You can sink the hardest ship in the game with a light sloop if you know what your doing.
Takes a long time, but can be done.
Where would the purpose of more powerful ships help?


If the game undergoes some EXTREMELY major content updates increasing the size of the 'world' 5 or 6 times, provide us with more inventory abilities, higher level areas (3-4 times higher than now) of the sea etc. Then I think 'new' ships with higher capacities and firepowers such as these would be useful. Different designs im all for, but without major upgrades the game isnt ready for more powerful, higher capacity ships.

Let us sail a Black Pearl type of ship Potco!

a east indiaman is the same type of ship that the black pearl is,

as from ship customization these would also apply to be customizable

that's the reason i have a 32-84 cannons specification
also the sizes i mentioned would be the largest said ship would come in

as for what POTCO would have to do to get these ships to work in the game,

larger ocean , more damaging guns
npc ships like these, well like a navy ship of the line

and raised gold caps to around 500,000 gold
