The "AFK express" was updated a month or so ago. Now if you're AFK on a ship, you no longer receive credit for the ships sunk by the active crew. I, for one, am glad D fixed that. I thought it was a rather sneaky tactic for getting on the leaderboards.

That update only stopped you from receiving gold (if it even does that), not from receiving credit for ships. If they really fixed it, some guilds wouldn't have as high a ship count (granted, it would still be higher than everyone elses
