I like it alot better only bug is when you are in cannon mode and you look at your menu (TAB button) and you close the menu the new ESC button is missing.

I think where it shows the number of rounds loaded, it should also reflect the selected type of cannon shot, instead of one static image of cannonballs, its a little confusing.

I even think the compass changes make sense... until you launch your ship. hehe
