Not totally random I will agree to that. There are to many variables in the program and game for any player to be able to predict a loot drop outcome, or even influence the conditions in a positive way. The sillly rumors that say you can dance a jig, go afk and then kill Darkhart exactly at 12 AM pacific time and get the Lost Sword prove that.
