In my historical accuracy, I must say that a crows nest is only on a whaling boat, where temperatures were low and they would be lined with cloth and blankets to keep the man inside warm. On a regular ship they are called lookouts or something. :P Can't remember correctly.

ANYWHO, Spyglasses? I can't begin to imagine how they would be used. The sea isn't that big in POTCO, I can see across just fine, thanks.
