On topic. Yeah, I would like a guild hangout. However, for individual pirates I'd prefer a captains cabin. Here's where I'm gonna get a lot of comments. I believe captains cabins should be standard on any warship. And only a warship. Yes, I realize that would mean if you owned 3 warships you'd have 3 cabins. However it would be too difficult to have to limit it to one when there are players out there who sell a warship just to buy another and reduce their max gold. I just think that no starting pirate would actually have a lair or whatnot. I think it should have a level to it, and anyway, a captains cabin would be an appropriate place.

I do agree a guild hall would be nice. I think it could be available to all current guild members via the lookout tab. Then they wouldn't have to be put on the maps, it would just be there.

If we do get captains cabins/ guild halls, they should definitely be lockable. By the pirate, or by the GM. The permissions could work something like ships permissions, but be tagged instead to guild rank. Allow GM, Allow Officers, Allow Veterans, Allow Members, and for when you want friends to be allowed, Allow Friends. Captains Cabins permissions would be separate from ships permissions. That way if you set your ship to public not everyone could get in your private cabin.

Anywho, just a thought.
