It was a tradition in the old guild to once, every year, for the Guild's Anniversary, to elect a pirate, whose contributions to the guild have been so monumentous, that they should recieve the title as Partner of the Year. The title of Partner of the Year serves in itself a sense of gratitude, respect, and appreciation from all guild members. The Partner of the Year is a true role model for not only guild members, but for all pirates throughout the Caribbean, holding those characteristics of which make them so great - kindness, generousity, leadership, and above all, character. This is why these pirates have been nominated, which is an honor in itself.

The following is each of the nominees for Partner of the Year, including a small biography, and why they were chosen for a nomination:

Andrew - Co-Guildmaster - Head Site Administrator - 4-Time POTW - Previous POTY

Andrew is our main man behind the scenes. With the guild for over 2 years now, Andrew has been one of our favorite pirates both online, and offline. Andrew was the one who set up our guild site, and is at the same time, the one who keeps it in such a fantastic condition. He is always willing to help, and has lead the guild both in the abscence of Norries and I numerous times. We owe this real partner in crime more than we can ever repay him.

Buck Bankok - Senior Officer - 5-Time POTW - Previous POTY

Buck is definately one of our most loved, respected, and decorated pirates. Being with us for about 1 1/2 years, Bucko has gone far beyond what others may find unreasonable to help the guild. From grabbing us numerous members, and keeping them too, to organizing guild events, to pushing us on to the leaderboards, Buck will stop at nothing to reassure our spot as the greatest guild in the Caribbean. Hes kind, hes friendly, hes funny - anything and more we could have ever asked for.

Charlotte Goldcastle - Member

Charlotte is one of the newer faces on this list of nominees, but trust me, shes earned it up here! Char, from her first day in the guild, has always put herself before others, so much so, we sometimes need to FORCE her to stop healing us and come and get some loot herself! All of us are stunned at how welcoming, friendly, and selfless this amazing pirate is. All of us owe a debt to Char in some way, so hers just one way we can repay her. Kudos, Char!

Christopher Ironhawk - Member

Chris may not be one of the oldest, or one of the most decorated members in our guild (although he was accidentally Co-Guildmaster at one point ) that doesn't mean Chris isn't something special. Chris has always been so helpful and cheerful in the guild, from the moment he comes on to the second he logs off. Whether he's stopping by to chat, talking a moment to help a low level guildie, or hanging out at Darkhart, Chris is a fantastic example of the kind of member every Guildmaster wants to have.

Crestshot - Officer and POTW Artist - 2-Time POTW

Kat has been with PNC for quite a while now, although never being part of the original guild. That isn't to say, though, that she hasn't been an amazing members all the way through! Crest has always been dedicated to the guild 150%, whether helping organize events, to pushing us on to the leaderboards, to helping a fellow guildie, to just keeping us smiling and cheerful. Crest will always be one of the guild's cool cats... but she's the guilds ONLY #1 banner!

Delmaria Darkskull - Guildmaster - 4-Time POTW

I was an Officer in PIC for about a year, before it's collapse. After a lot of talking between my fellow Officers, I decided to step up and become the Guildmaster of the new guild. I owe it to all the guild's members for helping me to get the guild to where it is today.

Elizabeth McMorgan - Senior Officer - 2-Time POTW

Heres a CRAZY one for ya! Lizzo is one of our oldest members, and a long-time Officer. From the beginning of PIC, Liz has never turned her back on us, and has definately shown she is a partner until the end. Although a little niave at times, Liz always comes online with a smile and a laugh that charms any pirate (especially because of the fact she was christened one of the cutest pirates in the Caribbean - LOL ) We couldn't be happier to have Liz with us, and I'm positive she feels the same!

Grace Goldgull - Party Officer - 2-Time POTW

Well.... what can I say? Grace is probably one of the wildest, weirdest pirate you'll ever meet... and we're darn proud of that! Grace has been around since the original PIC, and, after a long break from POTCO, returned with the same charisma and happiness that we all look forward to ever time she comes online! When you see Grace Goldgull coming online, you know that's when the party really starts, and we couldn't be more glad!

Le Corsaire Francais - Member - Previous POTW

Dog has been with the guild for about 8 months now, but he's already had a lasting impact on all of us! Although he's often the butt of our looting jokes, we all at the end of the day respect Dog's courage, wisdom, and willingness to buckle down, and have fun! Dog is one of this guild's many characters, but his shines mighty bright when it comes to being a real partner in crime! Congrats to you, Dog!

William Goldwalker - Officer - 2-Time POTW

Will first joined the guild when it was still roughly getting started, and I have to admit, thanks to him, he helped the guild evermore get off the ground. Will brought to the guild a sense of experience, courage, and wisdom from his past adventures in PotCO. Whether hes keeping up a conversation, or plundering his heart out with you, Will is the kind of pirate you WANT on your side - and I couldn't be more pleased that he is.


Along with POTY, Partners will have the ability to vote on the following awards for the first time:

• A Friend to All Pirates - Goes to which pirate in the guild shows the most devotion to helping other pirates.
• Guild Artist - Goes to the pirate in the guild with the most skeen sense of artistic ability, whether through creations, in-game attire, and overall style.
• Funny Pirate - Goes to the pirate who makes all our guts bust with laughter!
• Savvy Swashbuckler - Goes to the pirate in the guild who shows all their crows feet, and boasts them through their ultimate wisdom and experience.
• The Victory Shark - Goes to the pirate who is most defensive for his or her fellow guild mates.
• Honorary Partner In Crime - Goes to the pirate who, despite not being in the guild, has grown a part of us through their undying support.

All polls will open tonight, Friday, November 26th, 2010, and end Thursday, December 2nd, 2010, on the guild site.
