The Red Diaries

Ahoy there mates! Tis Stealthy Cannoneer! And I have created a bit of a story that might not fail epically. So... I present to you!

The Red Diaries

Prolouge: Ship and a Crew
It was a cold, blustery night. But then again, it was always cold and blustery in England during the winter. However, an 18-year old boy with emerald green eyes was walking down King’s Way, on his way to Buckingham Palace. He ventured down a bit, and then walked to the gatehouse of the Palace.
‘’ Henry is here to see the King” said the boy.
The guard looked over his appearance, and, being slightly drunk, laughed. He suddenly stopped; because he felt pressure to his throat, and looked down to see a dagger pressed to it. He stopped laughing.
“I wouldn’t do that, if I were you” said the boy again.
“Ill… let you in.” croaked the guard.
“A wise choice, my friend.”
The gate opened, and Henry walked in.

The king certainly enjoyed his pleasures, which seemed to look like all the food was crammed into his stomach. Henry glanced at a picture of the king. Clearly, it seemed that reputation is better then what he is actually like.
“So… to our first order of business, boy?” the king said.
“Aye, I believe you wanted to find the Red Diaries.”
The King snorted. “An old legend. They don’t really exist.”
“But they do. They point to the greatest treasure.”
Henry was playing him well. You could almost see the greed popping out of the king’s eyes.
“The myths say that they lead to the greatest treasure of the New World: Cibola.” Henry replied.
The king became suddenly suspicious. “Why should I trust you? You’re a pirate, after all.” The king demanded.
Henry rubbed the P brand on his face, almost absentmindedly.
“I am in need of a ship and a crew.” The boy replied.
