It won't let me take some things like gold out of the loot container. Could anyone explain why this is happening? Because the message has deliberately been put into the game.

I agree with Joshua. I have seen this message before. At the time the server that contained our inventory data was not working properly. Therefore we could not access it ( take something out or put something in). The condition should have been temporary. I hope you didn't miss out on anything really good.
