Sailing issues

ARRRRR! everytime i sail i crash i can get out on the ocean sail for like 10 seconds then i crash >_< its kinda hard to level sailing if ye cant sail >_< >_< >_< it started yesterday after i updated my computer is there any way to reverse this?!
