Its just continues to load, over and over again. How long does it take the game to load? What is the trick to getting on? Do I have to try signing up again?

It can take a long time to load. My desktop downloaded the game pretty quickly but my laptop took over 45 minutes just to download. When I log in it can take a few minutes before the pick a pirate screen comes up. As long as the progress bars are moving you should be okay. If it goes to black screen after that give it a couple of mins to see if it catches.
